Filling 1 year old photosessions with endless delight.
You did it. welcome to Parenting 2.0!
Some moments are too important to leave to memory alone.
Whoosh! That’s the first year rushing by. Your tiny newborn has blossomed into a full-fledged toddler, complete with a strong will, a sense of humor, and enough energy to power a small city.
The baby cheeks remain (thank goodness!), and so do their wobbly first steps and latest “look what I can do!” tricks—just begging to be captured in a 1 year old photoshoot.
I start each 1-year-old photosession with gaining your child’s trust.
The path to perfect images leads through feeling of safety and play. I have yet to meet a toddler that stays put, smiling happily on command. Luckily, I can kukuuu for an Olympic team if needed!
There is no pressure whether your child needs extra time to warm up, prefers to stay cozy in your lap, or pulls that “camera face” every time the lens is near. I promise we’ll end up with photos you’ll absolutely adore.
But how do you really make this happen?
We’ll carefully schedule the timing around your little one’s naps. At home, we’ll celebrate their favorite pastimes—stacking blocks, pulling pages out of books, or clinging to that random soup ladle. If the weather allows, and it usually does, we’ll head outdoors to admire dogs (while completely ignoring their humans), chase bubbles, or explore fallen leaves like they’re the eighth wonder of the world.
With just a little planning, the photoshoot can feel like I am reading your mind.

1-year-old photoshoots have been my cherry on top since 2006 and here’s what families like yours have to say about them!
You don’t need to be a model or a Pinterest-perfect parent for this photoshoot to be everything you want it to be.
Real is better than perfect. Play with your child, snuggle them, soothe them, and show them your love. That’s what makes the magic. My job is to capture that glow—the way your little one looks at you like you’re their whole world. You’re already everything they need (even at your most sleep deprived moment), and that’s more than enough to create beautiful images.
