Authentic Teen and Graduation portraits Espoo
A portrait is a conversation. The art lies in listening.
Every day, you feel it. The subtle shift, the bittersweet countdown.
Your children become less “yours” and more their own and it’s equally heartwarming and heartbreaking. They will always be your kids, but let’s take a moment to appreciate who they’re growing into: their strength, independence, and the bond you share.
Portraits where each moment stands still, yet lives forever.
There’s no need for a big event—you might simply want to preserve this moment before it becomes a memory. Separating your teen from anything powered by electricity might seem like a lost cause, but don’t give up. Lure them out of their cozy black lagoon—maybe by asking for this as your Mother’s or Father’s Day gift.
Once they get used to breathing fresh air, I’ll keep the session light, include everyone, and make sure there’s minimal “suffering” involved. Together, we blend your vision with my skills to create timeless portraits and you’ll walk away with a collection of images that don’t expire.
How do the high school senior portraits and confirmation portraits fit into the day
Traditionally, high school senior and confirmation portraits are taken right after the main event during the celebration, which is perfect if you want to remember the important people in your teen’s life. I’ll document it all in a way that blends seamlessly with the festivities—real moments captured and timeless portraits created in a way that won’t interrupt the fun.
Alternatively, we can plan a photoshoot on a separate day just for the hero of the day and your family. Skip the typical backyard portraits, bring the essential props (the hat, the rose, the cross) and embark on a small adventure instead! This gives us the freedom to create unique portraits set against the stunning Finnish nature.

Navigating Teenage Insecurities Together: I’ve Got Your Back
Most people struggle with appearance insecurities long after graduation portraits, but the teenage years are especially tough. Whether it’s our skin, body shape, or comparing ourselves to online standards, it’s easy to feel like we don’t measure up. After nearly two decades of working with teenagers, my approach is to openly discuss any concerns and design the photoshoot with those in mind.
And then...the eternal dilemma of having nothing to wear! Gasp! I encourage everybody to wear what feels like you. If you love it, you'll look great in it. Still in doubt? Worry not, I provide all clients with The Ultimate Guide To What To Wear In A Photoshoot.
