Niki Strbian Valokuvaus Oy is a one-woman show run by Niki Strbian. This Privacy Policy governs your access to and use of nikistrbian.com, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through nikistrbian.com, whether as a guest or a registered user, including any information you provide when you book me for a photoshoot, sign up for a course, sign up for my newsletter or a book club. What personal information I collect and where it is kept:

I collect your name and email address when you opt into my email list, and record the date and time of the sign-up. This data is password protected. I may collect your IP address and information regarding your location and pages accessed. This data is collected and stored in Google Analytics. If you purchase my online course I collect your name, email address and IP address. This data is held within PayPal and Teachable, which are both password protected. If you book me for a photoshoot, I collect your name, email, home address and phone number. This data is stored in my electronic address book, the online gallery provider’s database and in the electronic accounting system Netvisor, all are protected by password. I employ commercially reasonable methods to ensure the security of the information you provide to me and the information I collect automatically. This includes using standard security protocols and working only with reputable third- party vendors.

How I collect and use this information:

I collect personal data in a variety of different ways including when you email me directly, purchase a product, book me for a photoshoot, subscribe to my newsletter or express interest in upcoming courses and products, comment on my blog posts, or sign up for any digital downloads.

Technologies: As you use my site, I may automatically collect Technical Data about your equipment, browsing actions and usage patterns. I collect this data by using cookies, server logs and similar technologies. I will only use your personal data when legally permitted. The most common uses of your personal data are: when I actually need to come to your home for the photoshoot, when I need to have a contract with you, where it is necessary for our legitimate interest, and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests; where I need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

I require this information to meet and understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons: internal record keeping; improving my services and products; sending promotional emails about products that I think are interesting for you, like cherry and apple minisessions; sending informative emails on topics that you have subscribed for; to display advertisements to you that are tailored to your personal characteristics, interests, and activities; providing on-location photoshoots (kinda crucial to know where you live for an in-home photosession).
